My research interest remains in the area of Power System and Renewable Energy, specifically, high voltage DC (HVDC) system, fault current limiter, control of electric drives, intelligent control application in power system, microgrid, smart grid, energy management and control system design of smart grid/microgrid with high penetration of distributed generators and electric vehicles. I am also interested in the Real-time Simulation and Controller Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test for power system.
Besides research, I love traveling to new places, playing football, reading Islamic books.
